The household is fully staffed with housekeepers, chefs, executive assistants, and security, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment. Their 11-year-old boy is homeschooled and very bright. They have a toddler daughter who will have her own ROTA nanny. Both children thrive with caregivers who bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of childhood development to each day! The family has a lead Governess who is a joyful leader who supports homeschooling the children. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized, engaging, and an exceptional childcare professional with a strong understanding of child development. This role is centered around an active, energetic 11-year-old boy, and the family is looking for a caregiver who can become a positive mentor and trusted presence in his life. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy connecting with school-age boys and be excited to participate in outdoor activities, games, adventures, and all the fun that comes with this stage of childhood. Someone who can balance being a great role model with providing structure, guidance, and age-appropriate independence would be an excellent fit. Previous experience working in private homes and fully staffed households is highly valued. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude are key to success in this role. Job Synopsis Spend your days engaging with their bright son! Teaching him tools for tidying up his bedroom and play areas, as well as teaching strong executive functioning skills, will be required. Candidates must be highly proficient in using Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, WhatsApp, and shared digital tracking systems. Success in this role requires confidently incorporating these tools into daily workflows while maintaining accurate communication, organization, and documentation. This role will involve providing attentive care for their son as needed while working collaboratively with the nanny team, household staff, and full-time security personnel to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated home environment. The family will travel with the nanny domestically and internationally. The schedule for this ROTA position is from Friday starting at 6 am to Monday at 7 pm. Please take note that one week you will work a total of 85 hours, and the following week the schedule will be 12-hour days for a total of 48 hours. The family values their employees and would like to avoid burnout. Successful candidates must be able to provide weekend care on a long-term basis. This role pays a target annual salary from $150k to $180k, DOE, with a full health care package, paid holidays, and 401k. Accommodations during working rotations and travel are fully covered. Please have a clean driving record, as the family may want you to run an errand. They will provide the nanny team with a vehicle, and the security team will always drive the children. Most of your job will be on the property with the children. The family is open to California candidates only who can fly or drive in and out. Vaccination Requirements The family is seeking candidates with standard immunizations who are willing to get the annual flu shot and COVID vaccine if it is necessary.
