Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse in Ohio The LTC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized patient care within a long-term acute care setting. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe, effective care to patients, demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership. The position requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and supervising assigned personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: The LTC/Telemetry Registered Nurse provides shift-based care aligned with state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policies. Responsibilities include critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care delivery. The nurse delegates care priorities based on staff education and experience, offers direction and supervision of care personnel, and maintains safety and quality standards.
• Certifications and Licenses: Must have ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association. Ohio RN license or a multi-state RN license must be attached to the resume.
• Experience Requirements: Two years of clinical experience in long-term care or related settings. Vent/trach experience and LTAC experience in a hospital environment are required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Submissions must include the required certifications, licenses, and documentation. Candidates should be prepared for potential interview scheduling within the next 72 hours.
