WHO WE ARE Soccer Shots is the nation's premier children's soccer program, serving children ages 2-8 through engaging, character-building soccer experiences. Our mission is to positively impact children's lives through the game of soccer while creating memorable experiences for families, schools, and communities. Soccer Shots serves families throughout Alexandria, Lafayette, and Lake Charles and continues to grow each season. We are looking for a passionate, energetic leader to join our team as a Full-Time Head Coach & Social Media Coordinator. THE OPPORTUNITY This is more than a coaching position. We're looking for someone who loves working with children, enjoys creating engaging content, and wants to grow with a successful small business. This role combines on-field coaching with social media marketing, community engagement, and business support responsibilities. You'll spend part of your week inspiring children on the soccer field and part of your week helping us tell our story online and grow our impact. COMPENSATION Salary: $20,000 - $24,000 annually Additional Benefits Consistent year-round salary Paid training and professional development Soccer Shots curriculum and coaching certification Hybrid work and flexible schedule Career advancement opportunities Flexible work environment Performance-based bonus opportunities Positive, mission-driven culture COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES During Primary Seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall) 28 Weeks Annually: Coach approximately 20 sessions per week (sessions are 30-40 minutes in length) Lead engaging Soccer Shots sessions for children ages 2-8 Build relationships with school directors, teachers, and parents Deliver exceptional customer experiences Support Free Fun Days, demos, and community events During Off-Peak Programming 12-15 Weeks Annually: Coach approximately 10-12 sessions per week Assist with program growth and retention efforts Support year-round programming initiatives MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES (10-12 HOURS PER WEEK) 52 WEEKS ANNUALLY Capture photos and videos during Soccer Shots sessions Create and schedule content for Facebook and Instagram Highlight school partners and community relationships Promote seasonal enrollment campaigns Create coach recruiting content Gather and share parent testimonials Respond to social media engagement and inquiries Assist with marketing campaigns, flyers, and promotional materialsHelp maintain a consistent and positive brand presence WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Passion for working with young children Positive, energetic, high-character individual Organized and dependable Comfortable speaking with parents and school partners Creative mindset for social media and marketing Self-starter who takes initiative Strong communication skills Willingness to learn and grow professionally Ability to work independently REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Ability to travel throughout assigned territory Experience working with children preferred Soccer experience helpful but not required Social media experience preferred but not required WHY SOCCER SHOTS?
