Coordinator for Enrollment Management and Student Services

This position is for a full‑time 12‑month, unclassified, in‑person staff position located on‑site at the Bossier Campus. Salary commensurate with credentials and experience. Full Summary of responsibilities and qualifications are provided below.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required. Four (4) years of work experience in customer service with one (1) year in an office environment. Ability to multi‑task and coordinate several detail‑oriented projects. Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Excellent interpersonal, organization, written, and spoken community skills with the ability to make small‑group presentations and interact with students one‑on‑one.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must use sensory skills to communicate and interact via telephone and personal contact. Must be able to effectively use office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds. Must be able to sit in a stationary position for 50% or more of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate an exceptional customer service experience for prospective students and parents, ensuring consistency with institution, state, and federal policies. Independently deal with diverse and, at times, hostile situations; evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems in compliance with College policies while maintaining confidentiality. Assist the administrator with minor administrative matters and coordinate activities of the Enrollment Management and Student Services Division. Serve as the primary contact on student conduct related issues and utilize the student conduct database system to create and maintain files. Assist in managing technology needs and websites, and prepare and analyze student conduct statistical reports. Manage the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services budget, coordinating submission and completion of all budgets within the Division. Prepare, disseminate, and coordinate professional correspondence for the administrator to inform divisional staff members of administrative decisions and policy matters. Coordinate and review annual updates of the Division Manual and the Policies and Procedures Manual. Maintain an electronic database and confidential log of student issues. Provide follow‑up communication to students served by the Office of the Vice Chancellor. Coordinate use of F203 for college events. Interact daily with students, faculty, staff, and the public by phone, chat, and email on sensitive matters. Organize and maintain a daily schedule of appointments and meetings. Attend staff meetings, prepare minutes, and assist with follow‑up on specific assignments. Assist with completion of special projects such as reports and budget development. Guide students through enrollment processes ensuring accurate information. Assist with enrollment and student life as needed. Maintain inventory and purchase supplies as needed. Develop reports as appropriate to job duties. Work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete duties on a weekly basis and may include extended work hours during peak times.
