, LMSW, or CSW) for a unique hybrid role combining Intake Coordination, Client Eligibility & Referral Management, and Direct Counseling Services within our Lafayette office. This role is ideal for an emerging behavioral health professional seeking to strengthen both their clinical counseling experience and behavioral health operations/administrative leadership skills in a fast‑paced and supportive environment. The selected candidate will serve as a key point of contact for new clients entering services while also maintaining an active counseling caseload through outpatient therapy services. Position Overview Hybrid Administrative + Clinical Role Office‑Based Position – Lafayette, LA Full‑Time or Part‑Time Opportunity Available Minimum Availability: 20 Hours Weekly This position will divide responsibilities between: Intake Coordination & Administrative Operations The Intake Coordinator portion of this role will focus on supporting the onboarding and intake process for clients seeking behavioral health services. Responsibilities include handling referrals, insurance verification, scheduling, eligibility checks, documentation, and client communication. Clinical Counseling Services The clinical component of this role will involve providing outpatient counseling services to individuals and families while maintaining timely and compliant clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Intake Coordination & Administrative Duties (In‑Office) Serve as the first point of contact for new and returning clients Manage incoming phone calls, voicemails, emails, and in‑person inquiries Collect and process intake paperwork and onboarding documentation Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, including Medicaid and commercial plans Schedule assessments, therapy sessions, and follow‑up appointments Coordinate referrals and assist with assigning clients to appropriate providers/services Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the EHR system (Notenetic) Assist with referral tracking, intake reports, and service logs Follow up regarding missing documentation, insurance issues, and intake concerns Collaborate with clinicians, supervisors, and leadership to ensure smooth client transitions Provide front desk support and administrative assistance as needed Support clients through the intake process until assignment to a long‑term provider Clinical Counseling Responsibilities Provide outpatient counseling services to individuals, adolescents, and families Conduct therapeutic sessions virtually and/or in‑office Maintain a consistent caseload while delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation in a timely manner Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and trainings Identify client needs and coordinate referrals to additional internal or external resources as appropriate Maintain compliance with all ethical, documentation, and confidentiality standards Qualifications Required: Must hold provisional licensure in Louisiana as one of the following: PLPC PLMFT LMSW CSW Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare environment Comfortable working in both administrative and clinical capacities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Minimum availability of 20 hours weekly Preferred: Previous experience in behavioral health, counseling, case management, intake coordination, or healthcare administration Experience verifying insurance eligibility and benefits Familiarity with EHR systems such as Notenetic Experience working with Medicaid populations What We Offer Opportunity to gain both clinical and operational behavioral health experience Supportive and team‑oriented work environment Clinical supervision opportunities Professional growth and advancement potential Flexible scheduling opportunities Meaningful work impacting individuals and families throughout the community #J-18808-Ljbffr HCO Behavioral Health
