Industry Investment Management Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead its enterprise-wide risk management, regulatory compliance, and resilience programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing risk governance frameworks that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with executive leadership and the Board to ensure effective risk oversight and strategic alignment. The CRO will also oversee regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, support business expansion into new markets, and integrate risk management practices with operational controls to enhance organizational resilience. Key responsibilities for the CRO include designing and executing enterprise risk management frameworks, leading regulatory examinations, and maintaining strong relationships with regulators. The role requires a deep expertise in alternative investments and regulatory environments, as well as a proven ability to design and operate enterprise risk management frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), at least 15 years of senior leadership experience in risk management or compliance within financial services, and professional certifications such as FRM, CRCMP, CFA, CPA, or CAMS. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the CRO will be expected to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Board, and to promote a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
