Job Description

The Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality infusion therapy care in a collaborative environment. This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage patient care and coordinate nursing functions within a private practice setting. The Clinical Nurse will work closely with patients, pharmacists, and physicians to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Salary Range: $36.00 – $40.00/ Hour DOE

Clinical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with patients, pharmacists, and physicians to deliver optimal infusion therapy care
• Manage the coordination of care and nursing functions at the infusion site
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments
• Provide PIV and central line care and access
• Educate patients on medication and disease processes
• Prepare and administer medications
• Ensure patient safety through monitoring and follow-up
• Coordinate care with other healthcare disciplines
• Oversee nursing functions of the site

Clinical Nurse Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN/RN
• Recent intravenous administration and catheter management experience
• Critical care and/or home infusion experience is a plus
• Excellent assessment skills
• Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to upholding HIPAA standards is preferred
