Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities: This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and plays a critical leadership role in coordinating aircraft maintenance activities while working closely with multiple departments across the organization. Lead and perform routine aircraft maintenance, including inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of airframe and engine systems in accordance with Federal Regulations. Assist the Director of Maintenance with oversight of maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance tracking. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance personnel to ensure high-quality, efficient work practices. Communicate, as required, with vendors, suppliers, pilots, operations staff, and management teams regarding maintenance planning and aircraft status. Must demonstrate efficient use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc., necessary for the accomplishment of duties as assigned. Interpret technical manuals, instructions, schematics, drawings, ADs, service bulletins, and implement established maintenance procedures. Ensure personal compliance with Aviation Advisor, Inc. safety standards. Exercise independent judgment, decision-making abilities, and the desire to become a key member of the organization. Requirements: Airframe & Powerplant License Technical experience: General Aviation: 3+ years, Jet Aircraft: 1+ years (Preferred) Prior leadership or supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance (Preferred) Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills A passion to learn, increase skills, and take on new projects and responsibilities Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting #J-18808-Ljbffr AVIATION ADVISOR INC
