Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including planning, budgeting, and implementation of meals and snacks
Develop and maintain a menu that is both nutritious and appealing to our residents and patients
Coordinate with our dietary team to ensure that special dietary needs are met and that food allergies and intolerances are addressed
Supervise and train food service staff, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers
Ensure that all food service operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies
Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and food safety protocols
Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and recreation, to develop programs and services that promote resident engagement and satisfaction
Develop and implement initiatives to improve food service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
