Director, Plant Operations - Full-Time - Salaried Position Position Summary The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for the ongoing, effective oversight of the facility operations and biomedical equipment. This position plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and controls the facility operations and Maintenance, Environmental Service and IT departments. This position completes all duties and functions of the Hospital Safety Officer. Five years of management experience in a hospital setting required. Satisfactory motor vehicle operation report required. Regulatory and accrediting agency standards, rules, and regulations – Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, NFPA, State and Local codes. Demonstrated experience in working with various building trades, including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry preferred. Intermediate level computer experience, including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
