Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst and Project Support professional with a proven ability to gather and document business and technical requirements, analyze processes, and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency. Skilled in facilitating stakeholder discussions, conducting process analysis, supporting system implementations, and coordinating cross-functional projects. Adept at creating comprehensive documentation, managing project communications, supporting testing and change management efforts, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver scalable business solutions. Strong background in process improvement, governance compliance, user support, and continuous improvement initiatives within complex business and technology environments.

Position Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements through stakeholder engagement and research.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and validation sessions to define business needs and align stakeholders.
• Analyze current and future-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Develop business cases, solution recommendations, and alternative analyses to support decision-making.
• Lead design discussions and collaborate with stakeholders to define effective business and technical solutions.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, process maps, test plans, procedures, and user guides.
• Partner with development and technical teams to support solution design, build, testing, and implementation activities.
• Develop reports, data analyses, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and support business operations.
• Coordinate project activities, communications, risks, schedules, resources, and stakeholder updates.
• Support organizational change management efforts, user adoption, training, and transition planning.
• Provide ongoing operational support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with established project governance, lifecycle methodologies, documentation standards, and approval processes.

Position Requirements:

Education & Corresponding Experience

• A degree in Information Technology, Technical Management, Information Management, Engineering, Business Systems, Computer Science or a directly related technical discipline is preferred.
• 10 years of experience is required with an applicable Associate's degree.
• 8 years of experience is required with an applicable Bachelor's degree.
• 12 years of experience is required without a degree.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of Visio and/or other flowchart tools.
• Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Utilizing requirements management tool.
• Expert knowledge in supporting full lifecycle of projects through the IT Systems Development Lifecycle
• Expert knowledge in IT planning, functional and technical specifications, and system life-cycle (SLC) management.
• Experience Supporting Requirements Development, to include:
• Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops to elicit business requirements
• Research, analyze, model and organize information for developing requirements
• Decompose high-level information and abstract up from low-level information to distinguish solution ideas from business needs
• Facilitate requirements validation sessions and present findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate to resolve requirements conflicts between stakeholders
• Research, document, and validate current and future state processes and designs (functional and technical)
• Help define best approaches, alternatives, and decision frameworks for alternative business solutions analyses.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in organizational change management methods and tools.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
