Job Opportunity – Hospice Registered Nurse (Night Shift) – Colorado

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time night shift position with on-call requirement of 2 shifts per month. Orientation consists of 3 days, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, before transitioning to night shift.

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care in a home-like care center setting where families can remain present
• Focus on intensive medical symptom management and personalized patient care
• Work with an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support
• Serve patients who can no longer be at home but prefer an alternative to hospital settings
• Utilize advanced assessment and critical thinking skills as a disease generalist and symptom management specialist
• Full-time position with consistent schedule and manageable on-call expectations

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or related specialty preferred
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities to support patients and caregivers
• Compassionate approach to end-of-life care with focus on patient dignity and comfort
