Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care with a focus on medical-surgical telemetry nursing.
• Monitor vital signs and manage telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Active Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
• Candidates must be nicotine-free if not in exempt categories, with a negative drug screen required within 12 months of start.
