Founders Table Restaurant Group, owner of Dos Toros Taqueria & Protein Bar & Kitchen, is looking to bring on a Junior Accountant to be based in our Rye, NY office.

Responsibilities include:

●      Review and process all emails in the AP mailbox

●      Review the DSS for accuracy and post on a daily basis

●      Complete weekly/monthly vendor account reconciliations

●      Maintain Xtrachef portal

○      Invoice Allocation to Location

○      Review Invoices for Processing with accuracy

○      Monitor Approvals/Exceptions/Mapping

●      Record financial transactions, journal entries, and accrual entries

●      Reconcile 3p AR transactions to the bank statements

●      Reconcile assigned GL accounts

●      Support the preparation of monthly financials statements as per the period close calendar

●      Support tax preparation, compliance filings and audit documentation

●      Ad-hoc projects

Requirements include:

●      Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

●      Great attention to detail

●      Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team

●      Able to multitask and problem solve

●      Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. R365 and XC)

●      AAS in accounting, finance or relevant field

●      1-3 years of work experience in a relevant business/industry
