Assessment Counselor Another Chance is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Assessment Counselor to conduct comprehensive substance use assessments for individuals entering treatment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring clients are placed at the appropriate level of care based on clinical need and ASAM criteria. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments using ASAM criteria Determine appropriate level of care recommendations based on clinical findings Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner Provide clear recommendations for treatment planning and referrals Coordinate with internal clinical teams to ensure appropriate placement Communicate assessment outcomes to referral sources when applicable Qualifications Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or human services preferred CADC or equivalent experience preferred but not required Strong clinical documentation skills Ability to conduct interviews and gather accurate client history Professional communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
