About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in various Med/Surg units (cardiac, spine, neuro) License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Basic Arrhythmia experience required - Ability to float to Neuro and Oncology units Description: Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a variety of medical and surgical general care units and intermediate care units. Float across multiple departments and specialties caring for complex and dynamic patient populations. Utilize critical thinking skills to evaluate and assess patients. Recognize and escalate complications as needed. Administer appropriate nursing interventions and demonstrate a commitment to patient and family-centered care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, nursing assistants, coordinated care roles, and advanced practice providers. Effectively communicate and delegate tasks as needed. Experience with telemetry monitoring is essential. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Compliance with infection control protocols and safety measures is mandatory. Maintain excellent interpersonal skills while providing compassionate patient care. Expected to float across various Med/Surg units as required.
