Work with internal and external teams to collect, clarify, and translate business and/or technical requirements. Develop applications and solutions. Essential Functions Essential functions as outlined in Business Analyst I. Consistently makes strong contributions to projects and team efforts. Has knowledge of the business side and contributes to strategic decisions. Facilitate workshops and advanced requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions. Lead the design, testing, and validation of sophisticated tools and processes. Serve as the division expert in business analyst best practices, tools, and methodologies. Ensure appropriate visibility and communication as it relates to the project/solution. Collect feedback to look for issues and opportunities for improvement. Ensure that all documents are complete and stored appropriately. Demonstrates the guiding principles of Aerostar. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards. May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed. Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, business, or related field. Minimum 5 years related experience, or experience in lieu of education. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in Business Analyst I. Understanding of repeated queries via scripting, stored procedures, or other automation techniques expected. Basic understanding of data models, data flow, and system design. Specific experience in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel features, etc., required. Business Analysis certification or formal training preferred. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach.
