Clinical Lab Assistant

Veracyte seeks a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations in San Diego. The role involves sample preparation, equipment maintenance, labware organization, and compliance with quality protocols under direct supervision of licensed personnel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare labware and maintain laboratory equipment and workspace cleanliness
- Process samples and assist with documentation under licensed supervisor oversight
- Stock laboratory supplies and prepare reagent aliquots per established protocols
- Archive and manage specimen storage according to retention policies
- Support research and validation activities as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Two-year college degree preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Sound judgment and attention to detail
