Procedural Nurse - Cardiac Intensive Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No call, no holidays, no weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procedural Nurse with experience in cardiac intensive care. The primary role for this individual is performing moderate sedation administration, monitoring, and documentation during Transesophageal Echocardiogram procedures within the Echo department. This individual will not be required to work in the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor moderate sedation during Inpatient and Outpatient Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.
• Ensure safe administration and continuous monitoring during procedures.
• Document sedation administration and patient monitoring effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Cardiac Intensive Care experience with moderate sedation administration preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
