Nursing Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff in the delivery of resident‑centered care. Ensure nursing care is provided in accordance with physician orders, care plans, professional standards, and facility policies. Assist staff with resident assessments, clinical decision‑making, documentation, and changes in condition. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. Monitor resident care, medication administration, treatments, and clinical outcomes to maintain quality standards. Participate in staffing coordination, scheduling, and daily clinical operations to ensure adequate coverage. Support employee orientation, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes. Promote positive communication with residents, families, visitors, and staff while addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, surveys, and regulatory compliance activities. Investigate incidents, accidents, complaints, and allegations as required and ensure appropriate follow‑up. Maintain adequate supplies, equipment, and resources necessary for resident care. Serve as a clinical resource and provide direct nursing care as needed. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts. Long‑term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Knowledge of state and federal long‑term care regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sherrill House
