Rusty Rail Brewing is seeking an experienced brewer to join our team.Our brewers are responsible for brewing all of our beers and must have a strong commitment to quality while being a passionate steward for our company. If you're an experienced brewer who takes pride in craftsmanship, teamwork, and producing delicious beer, we'd love to hear from you. We are a small and close-knit production team that places a premium on culture and supporting each other.JOB DUTIES:Cleaning and sanitationPerform all brewhouse operations on our 15BBL manual systemWort productionCIP tanks and equipmentPerform beer transfersAssist with cellar duties that can includeDry hop tanksCarbonate beerClean kegsAll cellar work to be completed with an eye towards low DOWork with and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance manager and/or supervisorHelp organize and maintain ingredients and raw materialsOperate a fork lift safelyPerform other jobs in the brewery as neededAssist other employees as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:2 years of production brewing experience preferred.Bachelor's degree in Brewing, Chemistry, or a related science preferred.Forklift experienceA strong commitment to quality, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Must be at least 21 years of age.Passion for craft beerCOMPESATION: Competitive compensation based on level of experience.SCHEDULE:Monday -Friday (occasional weekend work as needed)Rotating shifts as needed. 1st shift 6am -2:30pm, 2nd shift 10:30am-7pmPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Communicate information clearly both verbally and in writing.Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.Frequently use hands to reach, grasp, handle, and manipulate objects.Bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and maintain balance.Lift and carry up to 60 pounds and move up to 155 pounds.Perform work requiring manual dexterity and occasional overhead reaching.Maintain close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus.Safely operate a motor vehicle and forklift.Be able to work in hot, humid, and wet conditions.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWeekly PayWork Location: Onsite
