Position Overview
We're in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enrich our dedicated team of imaging professionals who are committed to excellence in patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively within a nurturing team of healthcare providers, and help reassure patients through precise and timely imaging processes.
Responsibilities Overview
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, with clear and compassionate communication at each step
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Properly operate and care for imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
Certification Requirements
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
