Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity serving PreK through middle school students as a school psychologist in a supportive and collaborative environment. This position offers the chance to cover a maternity leave from August 25, 2026, through November 18, 2027, working full-time—approximately 36 hours per week—alongside two other experienced psychologists in the district. All work for this assignment is required to be conducted face-to-face on campus, fostering direct connections with students and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a current Michigan School Psychologist license and bring solid experience conducting evaluations, writing reports, and supporting the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Experience with Q Global, PowerSchool, and MiPSE SPED database systems is strongly preferred.

Desired Experience & Skills:

• Valid MI School Psychologist certification
• Previous school-based experience working with PreK through middle school students
• Proficiency with Q Global, PowerSchool, and MiPSE SPED database platforms
• Strong background in comprehensive assessments, initial evaluations, and IEP processes
• Collaborative team mentality and effective communication skills
• Ability to work full-time (approximately 36 hours/week) for the duration of the contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and re-evaluations for students
• Collaborate with a team of psychologists, school staff, and families
• Complete and interpret psychoeducational evaluations using district tools and systems
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of student plans
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to timelines for compliance
• Provide consultation and support as needed to educators and families
