Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in the lives of students across PreK through middle school by supporting their academic and emotional growth as a school psychologist for a dynamic district near Ada, MI. This contract opportunity spans from August 25, 2026, through November 18, 2027, covering a maternity leave. With a full-time schedule averaging 36 hours per week, you’ll partner collaboratively with two fellow school psychologists and be immersed in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required.
• Experience with students in PreK through middle school is preferred.
• Proficient with Q Global, PowerSchool, and MiPSE SPED databases, or strong willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of comprehensive assessment strategies, behavior plans, and special education procedures.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face psychological evaluations and collaborate in-person as required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments, evaluations, and eligibility determinations as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and fellow psychologists to develop and monitor IEPs and intervention plans.
• Document findings in alignment with state reporting requirements and school policies.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention support to students when appropriate.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school climate.
