About the Position

Medix has partnered with a premier healthcare facility to find a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a high-impact travel assignment in Manchester. As a trusted healthcare clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic nuclear imaging while delivering compassionate patient care. In this role, you will manage a low-volume pace (~50-60 studies/month), performing cardiac scans, HIDA, bone, and MUGA scans across outpatient and inpatient settings. Schedule Details Work Week: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift (40 hours per week). Responsibilities • Perform approximately 12–13 nuclear medicine studies per week (~75% outpatient, 25% inpatient). • Conduct cardiac scans, HIDA, bone, MUGA, I-131, and lung scans. • Maintain extensive nuclear medicine record-keeping in preparation for Joint Commission inspections.

Requirements

• Must be state-certified and explicitly registered/licensed in Kentucky
• Familiarity with GE 830 scanner, MIM software, and Epic EMR (Preferred)
