Territory: Western Dallas/Lubbock, TX Applicants must reside within the assigned territory, preferably in or near Western Dallas/Lubbock, TX. The role involves frequent travel and in‑person engagement with agency partners to support deepening relationships and driving profitable growth. Successful Candidates Should Possess A strong background in the independent agency distribution channel. Carrier‑side sales management experience; a combination of carrier and agency‑side experience is especially ideal. The proven ability to lead through influence. A track record of success in building results. This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Key Responsibilities Understand the strategic and operational goals of the assigned territory and distribution partners, using data, analytics, local marketplace information and competitor knowledge to identify mutually beneficial solutions. Identify and implement actions to achieve territory goals. Lead new business and transfer processes, including appointments and expectations, ensuring delivery of new or transferred business production. Leverage tools and resources (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic, dashboards) to increase operational efficiency. Gather distribution partner feedback and propose continuous‑improvement opportunities. Collaborate with personal lines, farm geography partners and other Nationwide counterparts to solve problems, promote best practices and provide input. Complete the annual planning process, document agreements in Salesforce, and hold partners accountable. Partner with Product, Marketing and other business units to identify and act on territory opportunities. Lead portfolio management meetings focusing on profitability and revenue growth. Typical Skills And Experiences Education Undergraduate studies in general business, insurance, sales, marketing or related fields; degree preferred. Experience Typically eight to ten years of sales or sales management experience; prior property‑casualty or financial services experience desirable.
