Job Responsibilities
- Custom-Tailor Treatment Plans: Assess patient's unique needs and devise individualized therapy strategies aimed at reaching their functional objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance the motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living for your patients.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to deliver all-encompassing and holistic care.
- Patient and Caregiver Education: Provide instruction to patients and their families on therapy techniques that promote ongoing progress and support at home.
- Tracking Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure patients remain on a path to recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Continuing education opportunities or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in good standing.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
- A genuine passion for aiding individuals and a strong desire to help them attain their maximum level of independence.
- Exceptional communication skills that demonstrate empathy and understanding with patients and colleagues alike.
- The capability to creatively problem-solve and adjust therapy plans to accommodate diverse patient needs.
