Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.About the PositionThe Logistics Coordinator II is responsible for the primary customer facing processes and procedures in relation to load planning, routing, and deliveries. The Logistics Coordinator II is responsible for handling customer load reporting and requests. The Logistics Coordinator may also be responsible for prepping and processing orders for shipment.FunctionsCoordinates daily load planning, routing and deliveries using warehouse and transportation management systems with external partners and operations.Creates processes that aid in the coordination of all inbound and outbound orders to/from the facility.Serve as the key Customer Service Representative and acts as a central communication hub between customers, site personnel, third-party carriers/planners, and internal network drivers if customer has integrationHandle escalated customer service questions/needs via telephone and email with consistent professionalism.May be required to track inventory, process units, and prepare for shipment and deliveryAssures that all special customer requirements are actioned; enters proper information into the workflow scheduleUtilize thorough product knowledge to ensure customers receive the correct product in proper working condition.Maintains open communication with customer operations and sales forces regarding scheduled inbound/outbound deliveries.Acts as a central communication hub between customers, site personnel, third-party carriers/planners, and internal network drivers if customer has integration.Arranges outsourced carriers as needed.Assists Office Supervisor and provides backup as necessaryOther duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 years of experience in warehousing or DOT related environment requiredMinimum 6 months experience as a logistics coordinator or related role requiredPerforms general administrative duties including but not limited to data entry, filing, and telephone/email correspondenceStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalismCompetenciesAction Oriented – Taking on new opportunities and touch challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Collaborates – Building partnerships and working collaboratively with other to meet shared objectives.Decision Quality – Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Optimize Work Processes – Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.Situational Adaptability – Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.Travel RequirementsThis position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.DisclosuresFor California residents – please enter or copy/paste the address below into your address bar to review an important notice regarding Kenco’s privacy policy statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
