Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication skills, language development, fluency issues, vocalization, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and support networks to construct comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and families on how they can nurture progress beyond clinical interactions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the rehabilitation process.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) prior to pursuing ASHA accreditations if not already certified.

Certifications

• The Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is recommended.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of hire.
