The Executive Multimedia Producer will define and execute the audio and video strategy for Opinions, ensuring that our journalism resonates with audiences across platforms and engages diverse audiences. (note: This might not be right away)Partner closely with opinion editors, writers, and columnists to translate ideas into dynamic multimedia formats.Identify new opportunities for storytelling formats, distribution channels, and audience engagement.Manage production timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality audio and video content consistently.Ensure multimedia projects are integrated across The Post’s digital platforms, optimizing reach and impact.Skills & Experience You BringDemonstrated success in multimedia journalism, with significant experience in both audio and video production.Strong editorial judgment and ability to shape complex ideas into accessible, compelling stories.Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to inspire, coach, and guide creative teams.Deep understanding of audience engagement and platform-specific best practices.Track record of developing and executing strategy in a newsroom or media environment.Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.Rigorous emphasis on factual accuracy and high editorial standards.Collaboration makes us stronger.
