About This Role

Position Overview

We are looking for a patient and enthusiastic Toddler Childcare Teacher to help young children learn and grow in a structured yet engaging classroom environment.

This position calls for someone who can confidently supervise active toddlers while encouraging their curiosity, communication, independence, and social development.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent care and supervision for toddlers
• Guide children through meals, rest periods, toileting, and other daily routines
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate games, stories, music, art, and play
• Encourage children to communicate, cooperate, and interact positively with peers
• Support toddlers as they develop independence and self-help skills
• Use positive and appropriate methods to guide classroom behavior
• Observe children's interests and developmental progress
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and safe classroom
• Complete required classroom records and documentation
• Communicate appropriately with parents and guardians
• Maintain classroom materials and supplies
• Follow childcare center policies and applicable safety and licensing requirements

Requirements

Qualifications

• CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous toddler childcare teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
