Location:  Anchorage, AK
Pay: Competitive DOE (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients by escorting them to exam rooms and obtaining a full set of vital signs, including height and weight
• Prepare patient charts by gathering medical records, laboratory results, imaging, and other documentation for providers
• Process patient phone calls and messages, prioritizing requests and documenting information accurately
• Schedule appointments and medical procedures while assisting with or chaperoning procedures as needed
• Educate patients regarding medications, self-care, wellness, and treatment plans as directed by the provider
• Clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms while ensuring supplies are current and readily available
• Communicate professionally with pharmacies, insurance companies, outside providers, and other clinical staff
• Collaborate with providers and team members to support patient flow, scheduling, and quality patient care
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA compliance, and clinic safety standards while keeping a clean and organized work environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
• At least one year of medical office experience, including one year in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical practice. Three to five years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical protocols, and patient confidentiality standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHR Intergy, and other medical office software
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities while providing compassionate, patient-focused care
• Background screening is part of the hiring process
• Must support a drug-free work environment
