About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVPICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: NC or Compact license in hand Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience Preferred Must-Have: Patient Ratio Experience Must-Have: Charting System Experience Preferred Description: Targeted start dates include August 24, 2026, or September 8, 2026. Interviews will be conducted via phone call. Required certifications include BLS and PALS. Candidates should have skills as indicated in the job requirements and qualifications. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in pediatric cardiac intensive care is desirable. Familiarity with charting systems, especially Epic, is preferred. Candidates must be able to manage patients with complex congenital heart disease. Experience with various medical procedures and technology is necessary. Orientation hours for this position will be provided. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend. Floating within units may be required. Attendance will be monitored throughout the contract duration. Excessive tardiness or no call/no show incidents may result in action. Modules for training will need to be completed during the onboarding period. Ensure compliance with all staffing and scheduling requirements.
