About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Technical Assurance and Readiness in North America. This executive leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the technical assurance, quality, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and readiness programs for all North American data center developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the technical assurance program, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, and driving standardization and continuous improvement across projects. Key responsibilities include providing executive oversight of QA/QC programs, leading the technical validation of MEP systems, and managing the commissioning and integrated systems testing processes. The VP will also be instrumental in technical risk management, leadership, and organizational development, and will be the primary authority for technical quality and project readiness. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, building services, or a related technical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in delivering mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, or large-scale capital projects, and at least 10 years' of progressive leadership experience, is required. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in MEP systems, QA/QC, commissioning, and project readiness, and a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects. Experience in leading multi-site or regional programs and a strong background in industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, and Uptime Institute methodologies are also essential. The role demands a leader who can foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and technical excellence, and who is adept at executive reporting and stakeholder management.
