California-licensed Civil Litigation Defense Attorney

An established civil litigation law firm is seeking a California-licensed Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join its team.

The attorney will work closely with a firm partner and, depending on experience, may manage an independent caseload. Responsibilities will include:

• Handling civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Court appearances
• Discovery
• Depositions
• Motion practice
• Mediations
• Client communication
• Trial preparation
• Collaborating with partners and other attorneys

Trial experience or an interest in developing trial skills is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar license required
• 1+ year of civil litigation experience preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage litigation tasks independently and as part of a team
• Motivated to develop professionally in a collaborative environment
