Digicomm is a privately held company that offers a customer-centric work environment poised for continued growth.What We'll Expect From You And What You'll Be DoingUtilize meticulous attention to detail to maintain precise and reliable AP information and maintain current vendor accountsCollaboratively monitor the AP inbox with a strong sense of urgency to provide gold star customer service to vendorsEffectively process invoices, prioritizing invoices based on cash discount potential and payment termsReconcile monthly vendor statements using strong problem-solving skills and basic accounting knowledgeProcess expense reports and credit card expenses to assign payments to cost centersCreate and verify AP cash needs/cash flow reportPrepare month-end accrual entriesEffectively communicate with vendors via phone and email to resolve questions and obtain monthly statementsResearch discrepancies in the system, suggesting process improvements to the teamFulfill requests with a resourceful mindset and self-motivation, remaining flexible to manage competing prioritiesHandle a wide variety of tasks with excellent organization, planning, and follow-up skills, with very strong attention to detail and a mindset for managing expectations and risksMaintain the online filing system for financial information, records, and documentsOther duties as assignedJob Requirements2 years in accounts payable and at least one year of 3-way matching experience (Purchase Order-receipt-invoice)Manufacturing or distribution experience preferredIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with all other Microsoft Office productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail is essentialHigh school diploma or equivalent, some college experience preferredExperience with Sage 100, a similar ERP system, or workflow module preferredWillingness to remain flexible and adapt to change as we continue to grow as a companyDigicomm International is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
