Physical Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking full-time, part-time, and per diem Physical Therapists to join our team at The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload while participating in the clinical team process. Weekly pay up to $55 an hour. Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus available! The Oxford is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility with a large SUDS population.

Responsibilities:

• Screen patients/residents
• Evaluate patients/residents and develop appropriate care plans
• Perform direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor
• Provide appropriate consultation to the facility
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care
• Requires intense attention and concentration
• Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others
• Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
• Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
