Onboarding Specialist

Serving as the primary contact for new members, the full-time remote Onboarding Specialist will manage telephonic outreach, educate members on health plan offerings, and ensure their healthcare needs are addressed during the transition to a new health plan. Key responsibilities: Act as the main advocate for members until their care team is established, providing support through direct outreach and inbound calls Document members' existing healthcare services and new service requests while liaising with internal and external healthcare providers Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage members and encourage participation in the onboarding process Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in call center and/or Medicare/Medicaid plan Five (5) years of relevant experience required One (1) year of experience working in outreach or with individuals facing behavioral, medical, social, or interpersonal complexities Experience using motivational interviewing techniques in a professional setting Experience working in a multi-cultural setting required
