Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: August 26, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required. May float to Postpartum as needed.

Highlights:

• 84-day assignment in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit caring for gestations 34 weeks and greater
• Comprehensive maternal care including OB triage, postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery support
• Experience with C-sections, external cephalic versions, and high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia and diabetes
• Couplet care and postpartum experience in a supportive team environment
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and certifications
• 36-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license or Compact state license required at time of submission
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS, AWHONN (Fetal Heart Monitoring), and NRP certifications required in hand at submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
