Mechanical Assembler

Milwaukee, WI & New Berlin, WI
$20-$24/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team in the Milwaukee and New Berlin areas. This role involves assembling mechanical components and equipment according to specifications, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand and power tools
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform basic mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting, and rework as needed
Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
Follow company procedures, safety protocols, and production schedules
Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel

Qualifications

Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Skills

Experience with torque tools, calipers, and other precision instruments
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
Soldering or wiring experience (a plus, if applicable to your environment)
