Job Summary and Responsibilities Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus, paid out in full after 30 days of employment. Location: Immanuel Neurology Clinic - 72nd & Sorenson Pkwy Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p, no weekends, no holidays, no call. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination. Each day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns. To be successful, you will possess strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and teamwork. Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. Greets and prepares patients for the provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit. Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. Cleans and sterilizes instruments. Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the ABHES or CAAHEP. Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA). Successfully completed Medication Aide 40‑hour course or current/valid certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
