This role is responsible for driving production, fulfillment, and shipping performance while ensuring customer orders are completed on time, maintaining food safety compliance, and developing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment with short production lead times and a strong focus on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.Job ResponsibilitiesLead daily operations across production, packaging, fulfillment, and shipping to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time executionDrive production performance by identifying bottlenecks, improving throughput, and balancing labor across departmentsPartner with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure realistic production plans and timely order completionMonitor daily production performance and adjust staffing, priorities, and resources as needed to meet customer commitmentsLead, coach, and develop supervisors and production employees while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementEstablish and monitor performance expectations related to productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiencyManage labor utilization and payroll while maintaining budget expectationsEnsure compliance with GMP, FDA, HACCP, and all applicable food safety and quality standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready manufacturing environmentPartner with Quality, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations teams to communicate production status, resolve issues, and support new product launchesRequirements7-10+ years of plant management or manufacturing operations leadership experienceExperience in food manufacturing, food packaging, or another regulated manufacturing environment is requiredExperience leading high-volume, high-mix manufacturing operations with short production lead timesStrong knowledge of production scheduling, throughput optimization, labor planning, and capacity managementDemonstrated leadership experience developing supervisors and leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of GMP, FDA, and HACCP food safety standards preferredIf you're interested in this position, please apply!
