Job Description

Job Summary:
Performing advanced ultrasound procedures using technical expertise, the Ultrasound Sonographer supports radiologists by delivering accurate imaging in a clinical setting. The role requires handling designated areas or procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and positioning them appropriately.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including images and technical notes.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to compliance policies to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and report any technical issues promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification renewal to stay current with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS and ARDMS ABBLS certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Possess a valid CA State Licensure and AHA or ARC certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of relevant ultrasound or sonography experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Comply with all travel and onboarding requirements including timely submission of licenses and certifications.
