Physical Therapist (PT)
AvaMed Workforce is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a medical facility in Delano, CA.
Responsibilities
- Assess function: Test balance, strength, and range of motion.
- Review medical history: Read doctor notes and surgical reports.
- Set goals: Build customized short-term and long-term care plans.
- Track progress: Monitor improvement and adjust care plans as needed.
- Gait and balance training: Teach safe walking skills and posture.
- Assistive devices: Train residents to use walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
- Strength building: Lead exercises to restore muscle mass after illness or stroke.
- Pain management: Apply stretches, manual therapy, or modalities to ease joint and muscle discomfort.
Qualifications
Active California PT license Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred new graduates encouraged to apply Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach
Compensation & Benefits
$65/hr-$70/hr (travel rate available) Weekly pay
