The Advanced Database Administrator will perform enterprise database planning, administration, implementation, performance management, and operational support across DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, and Oracle environments.

The position requires deep DB2/z/OS and mainframe expertise, including DB2 upgrades, catalog maintenance, point-in-time recovery, performance monitoring, JCL, COBOL, CICS, RACF, ISPF, and integrated z/OS infrastructure. The DBA will also support SQL Server and Oracle environments, infrastructure change management, disaster recovery, technical documentation, and mentoring of technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily database administration and operational support.

• Plan, design, implement, and support enterprise database structures.

• Administer DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, and Oracle environments.

• Monitor and tune database performance.

• Support DB2 for z/OS application integration.

• Perform DB2 for z/OS upgrades.

• Perform DB2 catalog maintenance.

• Support DB2 subsystem point-in-time recovery.

• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation.

• Perform SQL code reviews.

• Support database and infrastructure implementation activities.

• Perform verification testing for infrastructure changes.

• Support disaster recovery planning and technical requirements.

• Assist with training and mentoring technical staff.

• Perform additional database and infrastructure activities as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support z/OS integrated platform operations.

• Work with JCL and mainframe batch processing.

• Minimum 15%2B years of combined Database Administration experience .

• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS administration.

• In-depth knowledge of CA GEN model management and application object support.

• In-depth knowledge of ISPF .
