As a Corporate Development Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of strategy and execution — supporting transactions that shape Lear's competitive position and long-term value creation.ResponsibilitiesYour work will include, but not be limited to:Work directly with senior leadership to develop presentations and analysis supporting key investment decisionsSupport execution across a portfolio of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, partnerships, and other innovative deal structures that advance Lear's strategic prioritiesSource, screen, and propose investment, partnership, and M&A opportunitiesBuild and maintain financial models for acquisition targets, including valuation, financial statement analysis, NPV, and discounted cash flow analysisAnalyze new opportunities in adjacent and existing markets, including ongoing assessment of strategic optionsConduct market research on key industry trends, competitive dynamics, and issues impacting the CompanyWork cross-functionally to align deal strategy with partners and stakeholders across business unitsPerform peer benchmarking analyses and monitor sell-side research estimates and modelsSupport due diligence and deal closing activitiesExperience RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or related field2–4 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or related transactional rolesAbility to independently build and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysesStrong foundation in corporate finance and accountingAbility to synthesize complex market and financial data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholdersStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlinesHigh standard of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentClear, concise communicator – both written and verbal, and capable of translating complex topics for executive audiencesProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet or Capital IQ; familiarity with data and analytics platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry, Tableau, Power BI) is a plusIntellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new tools while adapting to project-specific requirementsPreferred RequirementsMBA or other relevant advanced degree or credentialExperience with automotive industry trends, supply chain dynamics, or mobility technology researchDirect exposure to relevant transactional activityEqual Opportunity EmployerLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
