Job Details Job Location: Hospital - Building Services - Purchasing - Bldg. C - Leesburg, FL 34748 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $20.58 Job Purpose - The Facilities Specialist III works under general supervision and performs a variety of duties at the journey level to maintain and repair buildings, structures, and their attendant equipment. Key Responsibilities Develops sound working relationships with all program staff to enhance the likelihood of effective outcomes for the Center. Duties include carpentry, painting, locksmith, plumbing, electrical, control systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and related work as required. Depending upon need, duties of incumbents in this classification may emphasize a particular trade associated with building maintenance and repair. Assist Maintenance Supervisor in coordination of work, requisitioning of supplies and inspection of work performed. Performs rough and finish maintenance carpentry and plastering on commercial, public and residential buildings. The ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance. Required Education High School diploma required Trade school training preferred Required Experience Minimum 8 years related experience with comprehensive knowledge of maintenance Must be proficient in all necessary trades to accomplish all assigned tasks, to include but not limited to electrical, plumbing, construction, carpentry, HV/AC and painting Required Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems. Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, vendors, and stakeholders. Ability to develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
