You will develop and expand the community that attracts outstanding families to Alpha and empowers them to choose us confidently over every competing school. You will manage the personal dimension of admissions—from a family's first event attendance through final enrollment—crafting memorable interactions that establish trust well before any commitment. You will organize events, cultivate relationships, personally guide prospective families, and transform accepted students into enrolled ones. This position suits someone who has successfully built authentic communities, excels in social settings, and recognizes that relationships fuel important decisions. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Admissions, Heads of School, and Admissions Associate while contributing to the framework that will guide Alpha's expansion. What You Will Be Doing Plan and deliver high-impact community experiences, including information sessions, parent dinners, campus tours, school fairs, accepted-family gatherings, and partner events. Develop authentic relationships with prospective families, supporting them from their first inquiry through application submission and sustaining consistent, personalized communication. Take ownership of high school enrollment yield by designing experiences and follow-up initiatives that turn accepted families into enrolled families. Cultivate and energize an engaged community of current parents, prospective families, and ambassadors who enhance Alpha's reputation and expand its referral network. Keep CRM records precise and work closely with the Admissions Associate and school leadership to deliver a seamless experience for every family. Developing marketing strategy or brand messaging independently. Leading a team rather than personally cultivating relationships and executing events. Operating remotely. Basic Requirements Demonstrated experience creating and expanding an in-person community from inception. Proven track record planning and executing events from initial concept through post-event follow-up. Experience influencing or selling to deliberate, high-consideration decision-makers through relationship cultivation rather than transactional approaches. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with the capacity to connect genuinely with discerning families. Solid organizational capabilities with rigorous CRM usage and reliable follow-through. Self-motivated, resourceful, and confident building frameworks where they don't yet exist. Enthusiasm for Alpha's mission and conviction that AI is reshaping education's future. Located in New York City or prepared to relocate.
