Work Environment

This position is structured as an onsite role, where therapists will visit patients in their homes across the Metuchen area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' conditions, identifying specific needs and developing individualized treatment plans that include targeted exercises, therapeutic modalities, and education to facilitate recovery.
• Implement a wide variety of treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Track and meticulously document patient progress, treatment responses, and overall outcomes to ensure high-quality care and meet regulatory requirements.
• Reassess and modify treatment plans as needed, setting new goals and adjusting interventions to enhance patient outcomes continually.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the nature of their conditions and effective self-management strategies, including the proper use of assistive devices when necessary.
• Stay current with best practices, advancements in treatment methodologies, and ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and industry networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services extends to children and adults recovering from injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions that affect mobility and daily functioning. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a patient-centered focus.

Preferred Experience

• Current CPR certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and emergency readiness.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is advantageous but not mandatory.
