This position is primarily onsite, providing care directly in patients' homes within the community of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop tailored treatment programs based on physician referrals and individual patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate improved mobility, strength, and functionality in patients.
• Provide treatments across various specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine, allowing for a diverse and fulfilling caseload.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on exercises, techniques, and self-management strategies to enhance treatment compliance and outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service alongside clinical excellence to foster strong relationships and trust with patients, driving their engagement in the recovery process.
• Utilize advanced technologies and therapy modalities specific to home care, including mobility aids and therapeutic tools tailored to each patient's needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to set goals and review patient progress, ensuring comprehensive care and optimal recovery pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will work with includes diverse individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various medical conditions, spanning different age groups from children to geriatrics. Your role is vital in helping patients achieve their specific recovery goals, whether it's gaining back full mobility after a sports injury or learning to manage chronic pain effectively. Through meaningful interactions and personalized care plans, you will not only treat conditions but also enhance overall patient well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy required in Florida to practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information to patients and their families effectively.
• Basic computer skills to document treatment plans and patient progress accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, specifically in areas relevant to outpatient care.
• Familiarity with home health therapy practices and patient engagement strategies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Texoma Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we provide:
